Community Involvement

In the community, I have served for many years as Fundraising Director of the Mohawk District of the Boy Scouts, a large urban Scout troop. For my service, I was awarded the Whitney Young Award and was one of 20 recipients of Northwestern Mutual's Community Service Award, which awarded $10,000 to the Mohawk District. Additionally, I have served four terms on the vestry of our church, and for many years, I coached and refereed youth soccer. I have also been active in our local Habitat for Humanity chapter, Habijax.
